Tell us a little about what you’d like help with — accounting, insurance, or both — pick a time that suits you, and a partner will confirm. The first conversation is free, with no obligation.
No marketing onslaught, no “limited time” nudges. Just a few thoughtful steps designed to make the first conversation feel useful from the moment it begins.
A sentence or two is enough — tell us roughly what you’d like to talk about and which format suits you.
Takes a minuteNot a shared inbox or an assistant — a partner reads your message and comes back with a couple of times that could work.
Usually within one working dayYou pick the time that suits you. We confirm the format — in person, video or telephone — and what, if anything, to have to hand.
By return emailAround an hour. Mostly we listen. Towards the end we’ll share some honest initial thoughts — never a sales pitch.
About 60 minutesIf we can help, we’ll explain clearly how — and what it would cost — in plain English. There’s no obligation and no follow-up calls unless you ask.
In your own timeYes — entirely. We don’t charge for an initial conversation because we don’t yet know whether we’re the right fit for each other, and it feels wrong to bill for finding that out. If we go ahead, any fees are laid out clearly in writing before any work begins.
Two things: accounting — bookkeeping, year-end accounts, VAT, payroll and self-assessment — and insurance, such as life cover, critical-illness and income protection. If you need both, you get one relationship for the lot. Estate planning and mortgages are areas we plan to add in the future.
For accounting, we’ll give you a clear, transparent quote agreed in writing before we start. For insurance, we charge you no fees at all. Either way there are no hidden charges and nothing to pay for the first conversation.
Whatever suits you — in person, by video call or over the telephone. Just let us know your preference when you get in touch and we’ll arrange it around you.
No. The first meeting is about understanding what you’re trying to achieve and whether we can help. You take any information away, think it over, and decide in your own time. We genuinely don’t want clients who feel pushed into anything.
Yes. Innovative Financial Advisors is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and our clients are covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service. Full regulatory details will be confirmed here shortly.
“If you’re hesitating, it’s probably because you’ve had a less-than-personal experience with advisers before. We built this practice to be the opposite of that.
Every message reaches a partner directly, the first conversation is free, and we’ll only suggest working together if we genuinely believe we can help. Email us — we’ll either help, or point you towards someone who can.”
